The New Rebel Athletic Fund


Beginning with the 2025-26 athletics year, the giving structure will recognize UNLV Athletics donors based on their philanthropic contributions, removing season ticket spend. Rebel Athletic Fund giving levels have been adjusted to account for this change and can be found below. Benefits for the 2025-26 athletics year will be determined by gifts made between July 1, 2024 and June 30, 2025.

Priority Point System



The Rebel Athletic Fund, in recognition of the generosity of those who support UNLV Athletics, utilizes a Priority Points system to allocate seats and benefits in the most fair, equitable, and transparent manner. Priority Points are used to rank Rebel Athletic Fund members and allocate tickets to popular sporting events such as bowl games, conference and NCAA Tournaments, as well as fulfill seat and parking selections and upgrades.

Please note that your priority points will be updated by the start of the 2025-26 athletics season to reflect the new model.

*Priority points will be retroactively calculated, using the new formula, beginning July 1, 2019.

Moving forward, UNLV Athletics will determine priority rankings via giving level first, and then priority points within giving level.


FAQ

Beginning with the 2025-26 athletics year, Rebel Athletic Fund giving levels are determined based on philanthropic gifts, including gift-in-kind donations.

Gifts at the Contributor, Scarlet, and Gray giving levels must be made to Champion Rebels, UNLV Athletics’ unrestricted annual fund which supports all 500+ student-athletes.

Gifts at the Silver level and higher may be designated to the UNLV Athletics fund of your choosing, excluding Cheer, Pom, and Rebel Girls & Co.

June 30 is the donation deadline for respective Rebel Athletic Fund giving levels. Benefits for the 2025-26 athletics year will be determined by gifts made between July 1, 2024 and June 30, 2025.

Contributions to the Rebel Athletic Fund can be made via cash, check or credit card. Donors can make their gift via credit card HERE. All major credit cards are accepted. Checks should be made payable to the UNLV Foundation, with the specific fund noted in the memo line. Donations can also be made in the form of stocks, gift-in-kind, and matching gifts. The remodel of the Rebel Athletic Fund comes a year after UNLV Athletics announced its first-ever comprehensive capital campaign: "Rebel Up." The model changes align with the funding priorities of the campaign in an effort to continue to maintain and grow the resources necessary to support our athletics program through philanthropic giving.

While season ticket purchases do not count towards your Rebel Athletic Fund giving level, they do count towards your priority points. Season ticket holders also receive exclusive offers and discounts throughout the season.

The priority points system is a way for UNLV Athletics to rank Rebel supporters through their various contributions to allocate tickets to special events such as bowl games, conference and NCAA tournaments, as well as fulfill seat and parking selections and upgrades.

All philanthropic contributions are tax deductible.
Gifts made at the Champion Rebels giving levels are 100% tax deductible. However, gifts made at the Silver level and higher, after 1/1/25, are not. Donors at the Silver level and higher will receive a tax receipt reflecting the donation and benefit amount. You have the opportunity to receive a 100% tax deductible receipt, at the Silver level and higher, by opting out of receiving Rebel Athletic Fund benefits.
